Cookery Courses Italy 2008

Cookery School ItalyChoose our hands-on cooking classes to create an unforgettable holiday that combines Italian food, art, culture , Sun & Beach . For lovers of Italian food, we offer a unique hands-on opportunity to participate in small groups in a cooking experience . The local women Emilia Romagna will share their techniques, special ingredients, and family recipes. Our classes are ideal for cooks at all experience levels. And you’ll join them a tavola to enjoy what you’ve prepared. Programs are offered in Marc, April, May, June, September and October.

3 Day cooking class ( 4 nights )

5 Day cooking class ( 6 nights )

Our cooking vacations at the Hotel Major will allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of Emilia Romagna and learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment.
Classes are limited for a minimum of 4 to 12 participants.

PROGRAMM 3 DAYS & 4 NIGHTS
First Day: Arriving & Welcome Dinner
Arrival at Hotel Major . Time to mingle with the other guests and welcome dinner . Introduction to the program.

Monday: 1st Cooking Class and wine tasting course.
Get ready! Today we’re going to start making pasta using techniques and recipes handed down through generations of local women.  In the afternoon you will meet our Sommelier  for a wine tasting course. There will be a focus on the nearby regions of the Marche and Umbria. This wine tasting covers four wines, all paired with a small appetizer or abats faim (mainly local cheeses and cured meats).

Tuesday: 2nd Cooking Class and Wine Tour to Tenuta Ottaviani Hands-on cooking lesson on meat, fish and herbs or vegetables and starters. After lunch we’ ll have a wine tasting at Tenuta Ottaviani where you’ll taste the famous Sangiovese

Wednesday: 3rd Cooking Class and wine tour to Tenuta del Tempio Antico
Hands-on cooking lesson on meat, fisch and herbs or vegetables and starters. At the end, we sit down and enjoy the meal together. In the afternoon you are going to tour the Tenuta del tempio antico wine zone where you can visit a famouse winery and have a wine tasting led by Family Galli .

Thursday: Departure
Breakfast, transfer to airport or train station, departure.

Program: 5 lessons & 6 nights

Thursday: Visit in San Marino; We depart early for San Marino . First, we will visit the Republic of San Marino , the market, and then take ample time for sightseeing and shopping. lunch today will be at one of San Marino’s oldest and best trattorias. Afternoon at leisure.

Friday: Visit in Urbino and Rocca di San Leo; departure from Cattolica in the morning . Visit of Urbino and Palazzo Ducale , lunch in a typical trattoria . In the afternoon visit of San Leo with wine tasting .

Saturday: Departure; Breakfast, transfer to airport or train station, departure.

5 lessons & 6 nights :
Program Prices Rate per person/based on double occupancy: Euro 1.100.00; Single supplement Euro 100.00; Non-participating guest, double occupancy: Euro 600.00;
Price Includes: accommodation in double comfort room with private bathroom.

1 drink every day for free in the bar of the Hotel
Transfer to/from airport Bologna , Bologna / Forli , Rimini , Ancona or train station

Payment:
10% of total course fees to be paid after booking confirmation. The balance must be paid at the arrival in the hotel. Period: from 01.03 till 30.06 and 06.09 till 30.10
